Furthermore, access to “El Albaicin” is controlled by automatic bollards that restrict access from Monday to Thursday between 11:00-14:00h and 20:00 -24:00h. From Friday to Sunday this restriction takes place between 11:00-14:00h and 20:00-05:00h. Out of this timetables access to the neighborhood it’s free.

It is also very difficult to park in “El Albaicin” because most of the streets are pedestrian.

We suggest you park your car as soon as you get into the city, and take a taxi or a minibus from there. Otherwise make sure you have a good navigator or map and try to reach “Santa Isabel La Real” or “Aljibe de la Vieja” streets where you can park. Both are very close to Makuto Hostel.
